Snowshoe Tours

Guided Snowshoe Tours at Canyons Village

Explore Park City on snowshoes, and see a new side of the Wasatch Mountains

Canyons Village has a unique network of snowshoe trails hidden among our 7,300 acres of spectacular skiing. We offer Guided Snowshoe Tours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. Tours meet at the fire pits near the Ticket Booth in the Resort Village at 10:00 am. All tours include snowshoes, trekking poles and a Red Pine Gondola ticket. After your tour you will have access to the Red Pine Lodge where you can enjoy lunch or a hot cocoa. Reservations are required. For tours, please book your reservation online. Snowshoe tours continue through March, 2017, conditions permitting.

Group Alpine Lake Snowshoe: $80/person, Easy/Moderate, 2.5 hours, Ages 14+
Embark on an adventure and explore a side of Park City not seen from the groomed trails. Your seasoned outdoor guide will lead you off the beaten path through an aspen and evergreen forest up to our snow covered Alpine Lake. Throughout the tour you will have the opportunity to discover wildlife, make snow angels, and bask in the simple solitude of the mountain. Although the snow will eventually melt, the memories you create will last a lifetime!

Private Alpine Lake Snowshoe: $100/person, Easy/Moderate/Advanced, 2.5 hours, Recommended Ages 10+, minimum of 2 people are required to book
Our private snowshoe tour is great for families, couples, and groups. This tour is a great option for those looking for a much easier hike, or a more challenging work out. With the private tour you get to make the tour fit your needs! Private tours are booked depending on guide availability. Please call 435.615.3369 for private tour availability and reservations. Reservations are required.

What to Wear:
Prior to your Snowshoe Tour keep an eye on the weather and dress accordingly. It is recommended that you wear sturdy boots or shoes, and layer your clothing so it can be adjusted to your activity level and the weather. For your comfort come prepared with a warm hat, gloves, sunglasses, sunscreen and water.

Day Use Parking: Turn left just past the 7-Eleven and park in the Cabriolet parking lot and ride the Cabriolet into the resort village. It will drop you off near the fire pits.
Preferred Paid Parking: $20. Follow the signs up Canyons Resort Drive to the Sundial Lot

Cancellation Policy
Please dress for the possibility of changing winter weather conditions. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the total cost of the tour.  For no call-no shows and cancellations occurring after the tour start time; the cancellation fee is 100% of the total cost of the tour.  Weather is not a viable reason for cancellation; Park City Mountain reserves the right to cancel guided tours anytime for weather, safety, and snow conditions.
