Housing & Transportation
Housing
Park City Mountain Resort does not offer employee housing. The surrounding areas of Park City, Heber, Salt Lake City, and Provo have a large assortment of housing options and costs. Finding housing is a tough process. You should expect to have enough money for first and last month's rent as well as a security deposit. Listed below are your best bets to find housing in the Park City Area:
Mountainlands Community Housing Trust
This nonprofit group is a great resource when looking for roommates or housing. Check out their web site at www.housinghelp.org. They can be reached by writing P.O. Box 3661, Park City, UT 84060.
The Park Record
The local newspaper is published twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. It has a list of housing ads in the Park City area. For a subscription or to have single issues sent, you can contact them by phone at (435) 649-9014 or on the web at www.parkrecord.com.
The Salt Lake Tribune
This Salt Lake daily paper has the most comprehensive listing of rentals in the Salt Lake area. You can reach them at (801) 237-2000 or on the web at www.sltrib.com.
KPCW
Park City's local community radio station has an online room rental page at http://kpcw.org/services/room_rental.
Other options
Other options include: when you arrive in town, check out the housing board in the team member building at PCMR. This bulletin board is used for posting housing needs by team members and locals. Or, for another option, you could visit visiting the housing section at www.snowlist.com.
Transportation
Team Bus - Winter Season Only - for Team Members Only
PCMR does have a FREE team member bus that runs once daily from both Salt Lake City and Provo/Heber. Generally these buses start in the beginning of December and run through the beginning of April. Actual dates will be posted in early Winter.
The Free Park City Bus System
The town of Park City has a free bus system that many team members use to get around town. If you don't have transportation, ask if the housing is on the free bus route. This will provide you with transportation to everything you need, including PCMR. Please follow this link for information, www.parkcity.org/citydepartments/transportation/index.html
