International Applicants

WINTER 2010-2011

In order to be employed with Park City Mountain Resort you will need either a J-1 or H-2B visa. Application processes for these two options are outlined below. Read carefully.

H-2B VISAS

H-2B visas are provided by Park City Mountain Resort to a limited number of workers for certain jobs.

Please read the following information about the jobs available and the application procedures for the 2010 - 2011 H-2B Visa. The number of jobs and visas is limited in each department. Please be aware that an H-2B Visa allows you to work for Park City Mountain Resort only.

  • You must be able to work from the beginning to end of the winter season, November 20, 2010 through April 10, 2011. **Your application will not be considered if you cannot fulfill this requirement.**

  • H-2B Visa positions available for the winter season include:
Certified Ski and Snowboard Instructors H2B
    Ski Area Attendants
    Restaurant Attendants

  • Hiring decisions will be made by the departments that you apply for. Please do not contact us prior to July 1st to inquire about your application unless it is to withdraw your interest. We will contact you directly if we are able to make you an offer.

  • If you are chosen for a position at Park City Mountain Resort, we will process your H-2B Visa for you. This is a time consuming process and there are never any guarantees that it will be approved on time, or at all. We will require information from you and will need it in a timely fashion to process your visa.

Any slowdown in receiving information from you will jeopardize your employment with Park City Mountain Resort. Please make sure that we can reach you by email.

  • You will receive further instructions on start dates, wages, etc. from the department that is offering you the job. You must inform us which US Consulate you will collect your visa from should it be approved. This is an extremely important aspect of the process, so please consider your plans for the months of October through December if you are traveling. It is easier to pick up your visa in your home country.

Once applied for, we cannot change the consulate or country where you will pick up your visa. Please make sure we have the proper consulate.

  • Housing - It is your responsibility to find and secure housing. There are a few contacts listed on our web site housing page that you can use to help in your search. Housing costs are from $500/month and up.
