December 21, 2010
Park City, UT (December 21, 2010) – Park City Mountain Resort received over four feet of snow from a big holiday dump that blanketed the Western part of the country over the last three days. The recent storm follows a tremendous early season, with the Resort recording 146” of snow for the season and an 82” base.
“The early season snowfall and conditions have truly been fantastic,” said Jenni Smith, President and General Manager for Park City Mountain Resort. “We are elated at the current conditions and know that our holiday guests will enjoy the abundance of powder.”
Park City Mountain Resort is currently operating 15 of its 16 lifts and 100 runs. Snow remains in the forecast through Thursday.

Now, normally in a situation like this, I would have freaked out, but for some reason today I kept it in check. Maybe because I know that the Park City Ski Patrol is always on the ball. Those guys and gals do everything and anything to make sure we can get out and ski our favorite shots, so hats off to you folks! Since the terrain was so limited this morning, I was forced to ski the old reliable Pioneer lift and my God did it deliver. I've never had so many face shots at that altitude, period. Take a look for yourself; go ahead count the face shots!”
