Opening Day and Snow Blessing Celebration

Saturday, November 17 - All Day

Join us as we kick off Opening Day of the 2012-2013 Winter season.

Our 2012-2013 Opening Day Celebration includes:

9 am sharp: The lifts begin turning! Each person on the "First Chair" at all lifts open on Opening Day will receive a unique commerative t-shirt. We'll also have hot beverages and snacks available in the Plaza. 

12 pm: Snow Blessing Ceremony will occur in the Resort Plaza. Join us as we bless the snow for a great winter season!

1 pm: Aprés Concert in the Resort Plaza with Mudpuddle. Join us for some great music, beer and a fun afternoon after your first day on the slopes!

The Park City based rock-and-roll band Muddpuddle thrills audiences with a blend of original and cover music in a wide variety of styles. Muddpuddle’s sound touches on alt country, classic rock, and blues to provide a unique blend of live music. The line-up consists of Cole Hobbs and Marty Klein on guitars, Phil Dean on bass, Mike Rogers on keyboards, Matt Gordon on drums. The band has performed at a variety of venues from small clubs to big stages and corporate events to weddings. Muddpuddle has played for the Park City Arts Foundation, Salt Lake City’s Gallivan Center, the Deer Valley Summer Concert Series, the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, and Mountain Town Stages. With two studio cd’s (Muddpuddle, Nothing I Can Do) and a third in the works, the band has close to 30 original songs. For more information, visit their website at www.muddpuddle.net.
