Okay, here's what's up:
The storm was good to us; 2 feet of snow in 48 hours and the wind loaded things in so it skied like much more. My control laps in Jupiter and the East Face the last couple days have been full of face-shots (pictures will follow once I get them off my camera). It was good to hear all the happy locals and visitors out there enjoying things too. We have a couple days of sunny, stable weather and a chance to catch up on things.
INCLUDED in that will be a mission to Upper Pinecone tomorrow morning (Tuesday, New Year's Day). Conditions permitting, we will do our best to get Pinecone Bowl through Two Goons open for you by late morning. The avalanche control gate will be CLOSED at North Two Goons. We are not doing any control work past that point so PLEASE, enjoy the open terrain and obey our closures. Remember, we close things to protect you.
Great work doing a tough job. Now if you could please open Quit n Time all would be right in the world.
Eric replies:
Mark, we're hoping to get Quit 'N Time open sometime on Wednesday!
