Since 1963, we've been making turns on this mountain and working up a thirst. So throughout the summer and fall, we worked with our friends at Wasatch Brewery on a special way to celebrate our 50th anniversary with guests throughout the season. All that work paid off in tasty fashion this weekend with the Opening Day debut of our signature Golden Anniversary Ale.
The ale combines ingredients sourced from around the world and right here in the intermountain region, including four types of malted barley that give the brew its rich, dark color. A distinctly hoppy aroma and flavor, without being overbearing, comes from a combination of German Magnum, Cascade and Amarillo hops. Our ale fermented for about two weeks being filtered and packaged.
And best of all: our "Anny Ale" will be available on tap at all five of our on-mountain restaurants throughout the season, as well as on store shelves at select Park City stores.
So when you're wrapping up a day on our slopes this season, kick back, loosen your boots and and enjoy our Golden Anniversary Ale - half a century in the making. And you can bring some back to your fridge!
