Join us on the mountain as we celebrate 50 years of skiing and snowboarding all day long this Saturday, December 21!
Festivities kick off at 8:30 am with an opening ceremony and ribbon cutting - with lifts opening to the public at 9 am. And that's when the fun really begins.
Starting right at 9, we're hosting social scavenger hunt featuring historic photos from around the mountain and through our history. Be the first person to any of those historic spots and you'll be finding some of our awesome 50th anniversary commemmorative gear including: t-shirts, ski socks, hats, water bottles and more! The historic photo clues will be popping up on our Instagram all day long, so make sure you're following it and keeping up.
But wait...there's more! Brush up on your PCMR history and trivia before Saturday and you'll be in great shape to win 50th swag at one of our pop-up trivia contests throughout the day - we'll be hitting Summit House, Mid-Mountain Lodge and Snow Hut during the middle of the day and quizzing guests. Be ready to think fast!
Our mountain hosts will also have prizes to reward in-the-know participants on one of our complimentary historic mountain tours. Our first tour begins at 10 am and meets in the resort plaza at the Eagle Statue outside Legacy Lodge, our second tour departs the Summit Demo Center at the top of Bonanza Lift at 1 pm.
We'll have even more giveaways going on during the day! Golden Anniversary specials on food and beverages, giveaways for all Park City Mountain Rentals customers, special gifts for Kids Signature 5 program participants and surprises for the lucky riders of Chairs #50 on various lifts during the day.
Keep an eye out for our swag patrol all day long Saturday - it's our birthday, but we're hooking you up with the presents!
