McConkey's - a different view

For those of you who have been to the top of McConkeys chair you know that when you get off you are right on the top of a ridge.  One can see for miles.  This is one of the most beautiful places to be on a sunny day.  This is one of the most miserable places to be when you are battling the blizzard conditions we had while trying to install the planetary in the top terminal.  I truly don't know how the lift maintenance guys do it.  The first problem they faced was to get the assembly from the parking lot to the top.  With more than two feet of new snow, a five mile journey and an assembly that weighs in at 12000 pounds it took three snow cats to get the job done.  We have a sleigh that we were able to put it on and it took one cat pulling the sleigh, one cat pulling that cat and one cat pushing the whole mess.
