Seems like we have said it a hundred times, "what a difference a day makes". It finally got cold last night and this has given the snowmakers the opportunity to make some big "whales". It should stay cold for several days now. We have snowmaking guns set up on Home Run from the summit to the bottom of Bonanza lift, upper Angle Road, Silver Queen, Payday, First Time, Pick'n'Shovel, the half pipe and now we are making some real progress. We expect to have Bonanza lift with Home Run to the base and Silver Queen open by Friday Dec 1. Town Lift should open on Saturday Dec 2 but only for access on the mountain and will also be available for downloading. Let's hope Mother is good to us early next week and stacks up several feet of the white stuff.
The lift retrofits on Payday, Bonanza, Silverlode, McConkey's and King Con are complete. This was the removal of the Kissling upper gear box and the lower planetary that the bullwheel is attached to. They were replaced with a different manufacturers gear box. I'm impressed that our crew was able to do a job this big in such a short time frame. They are truly professionals in their field.
Silver Star lift is just about ready to load test. Hope to have it open by Christmas.
When are we going to see on the website info about the Silver Star lift such as trail map in and around the new lift? Thanks.

On www.pcride.com it says that they are going to be switching up the parks this year, do you know around what time they will open?

I enjoy watching the progress on the moutain via the webcams. The Summit webcam has been out for several days. It would be fun to be able to see the equipment making the preparations for opening those runs.
Thanks.

Eric replies:
David, sorry about the trouble in accessing our Summit Cam - I checked into it and it should be back up so you can see the progress our snowmakers have made!
