It's officially Fall

Yesterday was the autumn equinox, and we got a nice dusting of snow up on the mountain. Mike, one of our maintenance guys, mentioned that he had trouble driving down from the summit area (show below around lunch time) first thing in the morning as the snow was really coming down and sticking!

So, it truly feels like summer is on the way out. Sure, that's a bit sad, but this only means that the lifts will be turning that much sooner! Let this be a quick reminder that our season pass sales are in full swing, and our early season pass pricing end after September 30. Either visit www.parkcitymountain.com/pass, call us at 800-222-PARK or visit us at our Resort Services Office right next to the PayDay Lift here at the Resort to buy or renew your Park City Mountain Resort 08-09 season pass. And if you come up to buy or renew your season pass in person, you can check out the progress on our new Crescent Lift:

The lift is really moving along quickly now and if you come up to the Resort can also check out some great fall colors over the next few weeks, particularly since the aspen trees haven't really started to change colors yet. BTW, I spoke with, our snowmaking manager Alex, the other day and his crew is ready to start making snow in less than a month if conditions permit. Yikes, this is probably the surest sign that we're getting close to the season that I can think of - bring on winter!
ilove the picture i see it was nice lke the bacolod wedding it was nice also..

Eric, I'd love to see more pics of the Crescent lift construction. When will the bottom terminal start going up?
Eric replies:
Hi TG, I haven't had a chance to get over there so far this week, but I believe that they've started in on the bottom terminal. I'll try to pop over today or tomorrow and get you some photos of the progress.
