It's a gray and snowy day here in Park City, but in cyberland we're celebrating a birthday of sorts; our blog is three years old today! We started blogging back on November 10, 2005 and have made a total of 236 posts (including this one) since then.
We think that our blog is a great way to communicate with our loyal skiers and riders and we are always looking for ways to improve the content that we are posting here. So, if you have any ideas on posts you would like to see, or things you are curious about, please let me know via our comments and I will do what I can to get them up.
In other news, we are continuing to work towards our scheduled opening date on November 22, making snow when we can, and doing our best snowdances to coerce Mother Nature to bring us more white, fluffy, Utah powder. I will take a quick time out from the dancing as I'll be heading to the Minneapolis Ski & Snowboard Expo this Friday through Sunday, so if there are any Minnesotans looking for something to do this weekend, please swing on by the Park City Mountain Resort booth and say 'hello!'
Originally from the Pocono’s of Pennsylvania, Travis found his way to Park City three years ago and is now our grooming manager. When not in snowcat you can find him skiing or snowmobiling in the Utah backcountry or enjoying the skiing here at Park City Mountain Resort.
