Here's a great video from our friends at Park City TV about the best (and worst) parts of Spring Skiing:
What's your favorite thing about Spring Skiing?

Thanks for the info. I don't know if I've ever taken Flat Iron. Is it possible for a snowboarder? I would love to rip some turns on Blue Slip tomorrow.
Eric replies:
James, Flat Iron is pretty much as the name implies - it's a cat track, not terrible on a board, but not a ton of fun either.

I'm coming up for one more day of turns on Saturday. I can't wait! I've noticed for the past few days that even though Pioneer lift is closed, the snow report is still showing a run or 2 open, including Blue Slip Bowl being groomed. Is this actually happening? How can you get out of there without using Pioneer?
Eric replies:
Yep, we did groom Blue Slip today, and I saw that it was open yesterday as well, with the run out down Mid-Mtn to Flat Iron runs back to Bonanza Lift. Should be a sweet groomer today!
