If you haven't head of what a "Tweet Up" is, it's a gathering of people who have met up through Twitter - a rapidly growing online micro-blogging and social networking service. We're hosting a Tweet Up called SunTweet, this evening, January 22, in the Legacy Lodge at Park City Mountain Resort from 6:00pm-9:00pm and even if you're not on Twitter, you're more than welcome to attend, network a bit and perhaps learn about social networks. Another great thing about this evening is that although there is a small cover charge to attend ($5 min.), all money collected will be donated to charity, and the really cool part is that anyone who attends will be able to vote to determine which charity that will be!
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us on Twitter and tweet us @pcski or leave us a comment. If you are planning to come, please try to RSVP but even if you don't please feel free to stop by this evening!
Thanks to @startuppprincess and @carysnowden for organizing SunTweet!
So much for my forecaster!
Eric replies:
And we're happy to get it too, thanks for the comments Dave!

Eric,
A question about the print copy of the grooming report. How was the order of display arrived at? I would expect the lifts and runs to be listed with respect to the section of the mountain (e.g. Mother lode/Silverlode, Payday/Crescent, Pioneer/McConkeys, etc. but I can't see any rhyme or reason to the current order.
Eric replies:
Great question David! The display order of the print version of the grooming report is laid out in order to try to keep column lengths consistent. We were able to group runs/lifts better on our daily grooming map that is distributed at the mountain and this is something that we'll look to improve for coming seasons.

I noticed yesterday that there are a lot of spots with dirt showing through on a lot of runs due to this weeks inversion. Any chance you will start making snow again to cover these up since I don't see any massive dumps in the 10 day forecast?
Eric replies:
Dave, there are a few spots showing through, primarily on runs that are southern facing that don't have snowmaking. I also spoke with Brent (our Ops Director) and he said that we are assessing conditions on an on-going basis and if more snowmaking is needed, we will fire up the snow guns.
In the meantime, while I don't see a 'massive' storm, we do have a promising looking storm coming this weekend and again mid-week next week!
I also chatted with a few people who are up on the mountain today and they said that conditions are great, good at the bottom and progressively better as you get higher.
