Terrain Openings For this Weekend

The good news is that the temperatures have remained very cold and we have been able to make a lot of snow! The GREAT news is that our weather friends are predicting a big storm system to move into the Park City area tomorrow and remain until the middle of next week. They are calling for feet...not inches! With that said, we are planning to open Bonanza Lift on Saturday, December 13 with access to Upper Homerun (our longest run on the mountain). Summit House will also open so why not stop in and grab a delicious burger before your 3.5 mile ride to the Base Area on Homerun. First Time run will also open on Saturday. I think I may even put on my skis for the first time this weekend. I've been a little hesitant to get out there (being pregnant and all) but I hear the conditions are really good and the doc said that as long as I stick to the groomers I could still do it. The challenge will be fitting into my ski pants! Any tips?!
We have plans to open up a lot more terrain over the next two weeks with or without Mother Nature's help but please continue your snowdance so we get six feet out of this storm! Wouldn't that be a great early holiday gift. Speaking of gifts, check out this great package deal that we just put out. But you have to act fast as reservations must be made before January 1. See you on the slopes.

Not related to this post, but I recently discovered that I can follow you on twitter and get text message updates from PCMR. It's awesome. I don't even remember where I picked that up, but you guys should really push that more. It's fun getting the snow update on my phone every morning.

Thanks for the note Eric. I am glad that you have utilized our other social networking platforms. Spread the word!

Thanks for checking in Justin. You are certainly coming to the right place. We should have plenty of powder for you to ride in January. Hopefully we'll be posting big powder news next week!
