Who Will Catch First Chair?

Sleepless night anxious for the next day. Butterflies in my stomach. Arriving to work before the sun comes up. Cute avalanche Dogs greeting me at the office. People lining up at 7:30 am to catch the coveted FIRST CHAIR! All of these things signal one thing...the Opening Day of a NEW season!
Do you remember the feeling you'd have the night before school started? You'd lay out what you were going to wear the next day. You were excited to see friends that you hadn't seen since the last day of school. You'd toss and turn all night long in anticipation for the next morning. You probably haven't experienced this since childhood. I experienced this last night, just like I do every year at this time. Instead of laying out my clothes I'm laying out my new ski gear. I love the buzz in the air of friendly people being a part of what they love.
The buzz isn't just with the employees, it's with our loyal locals as well. It's always amazed me to see people in line at 7:30 am in hopes of catching the first chair. Who will it be this year? Tune in later in the day and we'll show you...we may even get an acceptance blog from the lucky winner!

Nice picture of 1st chair this season. Too bad that Tom had his arm in front of me! Do you have another where I can be seen? Thanks. I'd like it as a personal record.

Carving it up on Home Run this morning. Scored first chair on my first opening day in Park City!!! Another great season on tap at Park City Mountain Resort!!
