We know it may seem a little weird, what does Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” have to do with snow? We at Park City Mountain Resort believe our annual Thriller Snow Dance helps to wake up the snow gods and kick start the winter season. Maybe or maybe not, but who doesn’t love dressing like a zombie, breaking out the ski boots and dancing to “Thriller” in the name of snow? It’s hard to believe that Saturday, October 27 will be the 4th annual Thriller Snow Dance on the Town Lift Plaza. Over the years, we’ve had all kinds of zombies - young and old, die-hard skiers to vacationers just happening upon the event. We’re looking forward to seeing a few familiar faces, as well as some new ones. We have a few new “props” up our sleeve and encourage zombies to start warming up their dance moves now.
A free dance workshop and face painting begins at 4:30 p.m. on the Town Lift Plaza, Saturday, October 27 with the official Thriller Snow Dance performance at 7:00 p.m. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided to attendees. Need a little extra practice? Don’t worry, we’ve been practicing in the office for months! Spend some time practicing here.
Take a walk down memory lane with the videos from the last three years and get some costume ideas. Will you be our star this year?
