Calling all Park Rats

Once again Ski Utah is putting out the call for a blogger to join their team. Last year they added 2 Powderhounds and this year they are searching for the Ultimate Park Rat. We've seen you in 3 Kings with your Go Pro, read your blog, laughed at your tweets and we think you have what it takes. Yes, you, right there reading this. Here's your chance to do what you love and get rewarded for it. You ride hard and put down some mean tricks in the park, all while looking damn good while doing it. So put together an edit by September 5th at midnight and you'll have a chance to ride at all 14 of Utah's resorts for free!

Ski Utah Searches for New Park Rat Blogger
Winner Awarded Ski Utah Silver Pass and Blogging Position
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH - Starting today Ski Utah will launch the search for the newest addition to the Ski Utah Blog team - the Park Rat. As part of the blog team, the Park Rat will be awarded a Ski Utah Silver Pass, a $2,500 value, which enables them to jib, jump and ride 30 days at all 14 Utah ski and snowboard resorts. In exchange for the coveted Silver Pass, the Park Rat will be required to contribute one blog post per week October 15, 2011 - April 15, 2012. Entrants are required to fill out a short application and submit a 60 second video on why they should be selected as the Ultimate Park Rat.
“Being an Ultimate Powderhound is the best thing that has ever happened to me second to moving to Utah,” said Powderhound Matt Baydala, one of two winners of last year’s Ultimate Powderhound search. “Being part of the Ski Utah blog team is an incredible way to be a part of the Utah ski and snowboard industry.”
Ski Utah is looking for a Utah ski or snowboard enthusiast with a passion for The Greatest Snow on Earth® and the state’s incredible park and pipe terrain. Entrants should prove their ability to communicate their resort experiences through writing, video production and ability to engage a social media audience. The deadline to enter is September 5, 2011 at midnight MDT.
The Ski Utah Blog team is currently comprised of the state’s most knowledgeable and enthusiastic snowsports bloggers. The Park Rat will join Ultimate Powderhounds Matt and Cat, Thomas Cooke, Jodi Saeland and the Ski Utah Yeti as they dish readers the inside scoop on skiing and riding Utah.
