This morning our Marketing and Sales Team went out on the mountain to test our product and find out just how good the conditions everyone has been talking about are. As always, the mountain did not disappoint. Fresh snow from yesterday's storm made a fluffy, soft layer that skis and snowboards love to carve through. With the amount of terrain open, even during the busy holiday season you can find runs all to yourself, make fresh tracks through perfect corduroy and slash a little powder. Plus we are scheduled to open Motherlode lift this weekend along with Carbide Cut and Sunnyside runs and The Ridge terrain park. Not to mention the 22-foot Eagle Superpipe was opened yesterday.
One of the things that sets Park City Mountain Resort apart is the width of the runs and the wall to wall coverage. We won't open runs with ropes guarding strips of brown on the side. If a run is open, that means there is full coverage from one side to the other. When you compare this season to last season's miracle snow year, the outlook may seem bleak. However I challenge you to get on the mountain and tell me you didn't have a great experience and a smile on your face.
