Labor Day Weekend: What We're Up To
— Posted by Mimi on August 30, 2011
This Labor Day weekend we are going to be busy! We would like to invite you to join us at one of the many activities we are partaking in.
Sniagrab
If you're not familiar with that crazy word above, let me decipher. Sniagrab means Bargains. Get it...bargains spelled backwards. Sniagrab is a yearly tradition in Salt Lake City, Utah where families make the pilgrimage to the Sports Authority Utah Sportscastle to purchase discounted (up to 75% off) hardgoods, outerwear, helmets, gloves, seasonal rentals for the kiddies and best of all - a SEASON PASS. Park City Mountain Resort will have a booth inside the store where you can purchase passes for the whole family, ask questions or simply shop around if you are still undecided. Come on down to Sniagrab and let us tell you all the reasons you should spend your 11-12 season at Park City Mountain Resort.
Sports Authority Utah Sportscastle
5550 S 900 E
Salt Lake City, UT 84117
Sat 9/3 8am-10pm
Sun 9/4 9am-9pm
Mon 9/5 9am-9:30pm
Summer Adventures
Just because the kids have gone back to school, doesn't mean we've closed up shop for the summer. You can still ride the Alpine Slide, Alpine Coaster, ZipRider and the rest of our thrilling summer adventures until October 23rd. Fall colors should start popping up any day now. If you've never visited in the Fall, you are missing out!
Park Silly Sunday Market
Who doesn't love the Park Silly Sunday Market. This weekend its going to be even more fun with a booth for Park City Mountain Resort. Come up to Park City's Main Street and stop by to say hello to some of our Team Members and find information on our "My Pass. My Way." season pass program. We will also have information on local kids and adult programs such as the new All Mountain Club, Saturday Adventure, AMP Skiing, AMP Snowboarding and more.
Ski Utah's Yeti Pass Skootch'n Dash
Start training for Winter by attending Ski Utah's Yeti Pass Skootch'n Dash this Saturday, September 3 at the Downtown Farmers Market in SLC. There are 2 races. The first, a short ski boot course run (approximately 1K). The second is a 50-meter snowboard skootch (the hop you do when you get stuck on a flat). Prizes will be given for fastest times and the best costume wins the Ski Utah Yeti Pass. Remember a Yeti Pass allows you to ski one day at all 14 of Utah's ski resorts.
Park City Miner's Day Parade
Be sure to catch the Park City Miner's Day Parade and see our float! We're re-creating an Adventure Alley with trees, snow and even a SnowBug. The parade starts on Main Street at 11am, rain or shine. See you there!
