50 Days to Opening Day: Time to Get Ready!
— Posted by Park City Mountain Resort on September 28, 2012
We've got some news guaranteed to make your Friday even better: today marks 50 DAYS 'TIL OPENING DAY. That's right, November 17 is 7 weeks and 1 day from this very day, which means it's time to (a) celebrate and (b) get ready. With that in mind, we've put together a "50 Days to Opening Day" training schedule for you, designed to progress you through this final push before winter and have you at your tip-top best when it's time to take those first runs of the season (you're on your own with breaking in your boots).
Our program incorporates aerobic fitness, balance work, strength training in your legs and core, and flexibility toward a well-rounded preparation for the ski the season. We've also designed this schedule with simple exercises and movements that don't require expensive equipment or a gym membership, just an enthusiasm to be ready for your ski season!
Not making it for our Opening Day? This will still be helpful to you, no matter when your Park City Mountain Resort vacation is happening!
50 days and counting 'til we open. See you this winter!
Check out our plan below and we encourage you to download, or copy and save, your own version of this document!
