My Favorite Event of the Season: Santa Comes down the Town Lift

Guest post by Meisha Lawson, Senior Marketing Manager
I started at Park City Mountain Resort on December 13, 2007, just a few days before the annual Santa Comes Down the Town Lift event. My move to Park City was bittersweet, while excited for the new opportunity it was very difficult to leave behind the lifelong friends I made in Colorado.
Santa Coming Down the Town Lift was the first event I “managed” as the Events Manager at Park City Mountain Resort. I was a bit nervous and not really sure how things should go. As the night progressed and Santa approached the crest of the Town Lift runs, I knew Park City Mountain Resort was the place for me. Now, four years later, I am constantly teased at how my face lights up as I talk about this event. It’s almost like Park City Mountain Resort has found a way to take Holiday Cheer and present it to the world.
I am typically asked if this is just a family event, and I always reply no. This event is perfect for everyone and really brings out the holiday spirit in us all. Don’t take my word for it. Join us this Saturday to see Santa come down the Town Lift!
