We're excited to announce new family programming in time for Spring Break. Programs include Jr. Signature Snowboard lessons, Ladies Club, kids cooking class on St. Patrick’s Day and an Easter Comes Early event.
“Spring Break is a great time for family vacations, which is why we’ve decided to test out a few new programs,” says Mary Flinn Ware, Park City Mountain Resort Kids Mountain School Manager and resident Snowmama. “We’ve recently seen an increased demand for snowboard lessons for younger children and have identified a need for ladies looking for a group to enjoy the mountain with and refresh their skills in the process.”

A Learn to Snowboard Program for 5 to 6 year olds.
When: March 13 – April 3, 2011, 9:30 a.m.
Where: Kids Signature 3 check in below the ticket office
Program includes two on snow sessions, equipment, lunch and lift access
This learn to snowboard program for 5 and 6 year olds is an introduction to snowboarding in a small class, maximum 3 children to 1 coach ratio. Park City Mountain Resort’s Jr. Signature Snowboard is for 1st time participants through learning to link turns, utilizing terrain off of the First Time Lift. Once participants accomplish linking heel and toe side turns, they are ready to move to our Signature 5 program.

Join Park City Mountain Resort’s “Ladies Club” to pick up new skills and learn the mountain like a local.
When: Offered for a limited time Sunday – Tuesday beginning March 13th – March 29 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Where: Meeting place: Kids Signature 5 Korral at 9:50 am
With a few hours free in the morning….what’s a girl going to do? Enjoy the mountain with the Ladies Club! Led by Park City Mountain Resort’s own female pro instructors, this group will teach you more than just a few tricks to improve your skills. You will walk away with new favorite runs, plus tips that will help you ski the mountain like a local. Whether your current skills take you on green or blue/black terrain, come enjoy time on the snow with the Ladies Club. Offered Sunday, Monday and Tuesday through March 29. Reservations recommended, but not always required. Please call 800-227-2754 to make reservations.
Join Snowmama Alison Lewis for a special one-hour class where your snowkiddos will learn après ski recipes.
When: Thursday, March 17, 2011 – 4 to 5 p.m.
Where: Second Floor of the Legacy Lodge
Cost: $25.00 (required to make reservation. No refunds due to limit of 25 kids
Who: Kids ages 6+ and their snowmama or snowpapa
After a great day on the mountain every kid is ready for après ski! Learn simple and delicious treats that you can make in the condo with your parents. Author and Snowmama Alison Lewis will lead this fun one-hour class and you’ll walk away with four delicious snacks and recipes to enjoy in your condo. Space is limited to 25 kids (and their snowmama or snowpapa). The class costs $25 and is required to secure your spot. Children under 6 can give big brother or big sister a helping hand creating their snacks. Recipes include One-Bowl Banana Bread, No Bake Granola Bars, St. Patrick’s Day Fresh Herb Dip, and Make Your Own Pizzas.
Easter is so much fun at Park City Mountain Resort, we’ve decided to celebrate early.
When: Sunday, April 3, 2011 -9:00 a.m. SHARP
Where: Kid’s Korral, First Time Face and All-Mountain Hunts
Cost: Participation in the Egg Hunts is free (a valid lift ticket or season pass is required for mountain access)
Park City Mountain Resort’s Easter festivities are coming early this year! “Easter Comes Early” Sunday, April 3, 2011. The event include an egg hunt with a visit from the Easter Bunny children ages six and under in the Resort’s Kid’s Korral beginning at 9 a.m. sharp. Pastries, hot chocolate and coffee will be served. Older children and adults are invited to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt on the First Time face. The Annual “Hunt for the Golden Egg” will take place all over the mountain with two golden eggs containing 2011/2012 season passes. Non-golden eggs containing prizes including 2011 Summer Activities, 2011-2012 lift tickets and more will also be hidden on the mountain.

Andy has skied the Park City area for 20 years, and is excited to finally be a full-time PC resident and call Park City Mountain Resort his home mountain.
Samantha is new to Utah, joining the Park City Mountain Resort team in 2011 as the Marketing Coordinator.
When he's not up on the mountain checking on the cams, Eric is managing the interactive marketing for Park City Mountain Resort.
Brent is the director of mountain operations. He is a long-timer at the Resort, this is his 33rd season.
Bert has been with the Park City Mountain Resort Mountain Patrol since 1991.
Originally from the Pocono’s of Pennsylvania, Travis found his way to Park City three years ago and is now our grooming manager. When not in snowcat you can find him skiing or snowmobiling in the Utah backcountry or enjoying the skiing here at Park City Mountain Resort.
Jon is a Kids Ski & Snowboard School supervisor and trainer.
