Park City Mountain Resort Welcomes Cobra Dogs to its Food and Beverage Offerings
— Posted by Park City Mountain Resort on December 28, 2010
Park City Mountain Resort is proud to welcome Cobra Dogs as an addition to the Resort’s food and beverage offerings. Cobra Dogs sells all-natural hot dogs and brats, including veggie dogs, and will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. beginning Tuesday, December 28, through March 27, 2011. Cobra Dogs will be located at the base of the Eagle Superpipe and Three Kings Terrain Park.
“We’ve been looking at different food and beverage opportunities for the pipe and park crowd,” said Deirdra Walsh, food and beverage director for Park City Mountain Resort. “With the addition of night riding to the Three Kings Terrain Park, we found the perfect fit with Cobra Dogs. We are excited to work with Cory and his team to extend the Cobra Dogs brand to Park City Mountain Resort.”
For the past six years, Cobra Dogs has operated during the summer at Government Camp, located at the base of Mt. Hood, and has been a staple for participants of the High Cascade snowboard camp. This is the first time Cobra Dogs has operated full time in the winter.
Owner Cory Grove and Cobra Dogs staple Matty Mo.
“The energy and support behind Cobra Dogs has been overwhelming,” said Cory Grove, founder of Cobra Dogs. “I’ve been trying to figure out what is next for us and Park City Mountain Resort is a great stepping stone towards the ultimate goal of world domination. No seriously, I think that Park City gets it and will be able to provide a true Cobra Dogs experience. It was important for me to make sure that the Cobra Dogs feel you get at Govy would be replicated. It’s not only about hot dogs, but it’s also making sure we work with people that support snowboarding and Park City is perfect for that. I’m still blown away at how much they put in to the snowboarding end of things here.”
Join Park City Mountain Resort and Cobra Dogs for a Grand Opening Party, including a night rail jam, on January 14, 2011. Details are still being finalized but keep an eye on www.pcride.com for information.
