Want to hear a locals' secret? Right around the third week of January every year is a great time to get out on the mountain. We've had a good couple months of snow, you can count on virtually the entire mountain being open and - best of all - lift lines are way short! So what gives? The Sundance Film Festival is in town!
Every year during that third week of January, Park City turns into a sort of Tinsel Town on a Tundra. Film actors, directors, writers and critics flood into town for 10 days of movie screenings and parties - some are premiering their latest release in a funky ski town setting while others are hoping to catch their big break and land a deal for their previously unknown film. But while bus stop lines swell and hotels & condos fill with visitors here for the screenings and nightlife, the slopes and lift lines are relatively empty!
That's why we're rolling out the white carpet during Sundance with a special lift ticket deal: two-day lift tickets, valid January 17 - 27, 2013, are now available in our online store for $125 - that's 39% off our regular rates! And no, you don't have to have just won a Golden Globe to be eligible for this deal - it's available to anyone.
So grab your gear, check out our lift ticket deal HERE and come join us for some great mid-season turns at a great rate! Oh and keep your eyes open, 'cause you never know who you'll see on the mountain.
