Town Lift's Opening Will Be Delayed

**Please note that we have fixed the problem and Town Lift will be opening Sunday, December 3rd. **
We’re two weeks into the winter season and have enjoyed watching Resort guests get onto the mountain even quicker and easier than before with the help of our new hands-free access gates and renovated 3 Kings lift area.
Every season presents its share of challenges, however, and such is the case with Town Lift right now. Earlier this week, as we were preparing to open for uploading/downloading this weekend, we found a mechanical issue. Unfortunately the broken part is not readily available anywhere in the world. We are working with the manufacturer to get this part replaced as soon as possible.
Town lift operated safely throughout the summer, and it passed an inspection from the Utah Tram Way Board in mid-October. Until we can replace this part, however, the lift will regrettably remain closed.
Lift ticket windows at Town Lift Plaza will remain open for business daily from 8-11 am, and Resort mountain hosts will be present at the plaza to direct guests to city buses for the five minute ride to the Resort Base Area.
We regret the inconvenience; Town Lift’s location on Park City’s historic Main Street makes it a popular access point to the Resort for many of our guests. We will keep you updated regarding the status of the lift and its operation. We are working as hard as we can to resolve the problem.
Any status update on the Town Lift. I am looking to book in town or Silver Star in February but won't book in town if the lift is still inoperable???

We're concern as well. We are going to stay at town lift in 2 weeks. Hope it will be ready by that time. Any idea when it will open?
