The historic Golden Anniversary season ends at Park City Mountain Resort on Easter Sunday, April 20th, with one final and all-time favorite tradition: the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Hunt for the Golden Eggs.
This year, it's bigger and better than ever as Park City Mountain Resort's Golden Anniversary celebration wraps up. Just as in years past, the Easter Bunny will be on-hand with a hunt for kids 6 and under in the Kid's Korral; a separate hunt on First Time run for younger guests who want to ski or snowboard their way to the eggs; and the traditional all-mountain egg hunt for hunters of all ages. Prizes include your favorite Easter treats, as well as the last shot at commemorative 50th anniversary T-shirts, hats, water bottles, coffee mugs and more before they are locked up in the vault for good.
All told, more than 2,000 eggs and prizes will be waiting to be found on Easter Sunday.
And once again, two Golden Eggs hidden on the mountain will each hold a 2014-15 season pass. Want to get a head up on the competition? Check the resort Facebook page or Twitter feed for clues to the hiding spots beginning on Wednesday.
Need a Snowmamas tip to find the eggs? Get there early! We can't stress this enough. The early bird gets the worm....or in this case, the eggs. It starts promptly at 9 a.m., and if you straggle in at 9:15 a.m.,the frenzy will be over. Don't forget the basket to hold them. If you are doing the on-mountain hunt, a drawstring bag of some sort will ensure you don't lose any eggs you collect. If you are one of the first ones on the lift, you could end up with a pretty good haul that won't fit in those jacket pockets.
This has been a 50th anniversary season to be remembered forever, and although we are sad to see the season come to a close, we couldn't think of a better way to finish it up. Come join us - we hope to see you out there!
