The resort finally looks like a ski mountain and conditions are just unreal. Patrollers and locals alike have had more good powder days in a row than many of us can remember.
Tomorrow morning at sunrise we will be up on Pinecone Ridge. We plan to shoot the upper end (Pinecone Bowl to Two Goons) and have it open for you by mid-morning if all goes well.
On Friday evenings we, the patrol, gather at our local pub for some end of week decompression. As part of this "safety meeting" we have a tradition of presenting one patroller with the Bad Judgment Award, otherwise known as the Stick of Dumb.
Andy has skied the Park City area for 20 years, and is excited to finally be a full-time PC resident and call Park City Mountain Resort his home mountain.
Originally from the Pocono’s of Pennsylvania, Travis found his way to Park City three years ago and is now our grooming manager. When not in snowcat you can find him skiing or snowmobiling in the Utah backcountry or enjoying the skiing here at Park City Mountain Resort.
