Park City Mountain Resort Announces Additional Terrain Openings

Media Center Navigation: Go

December 1, 2010

There’s a reason why November was coined “Snowvember”. Park City Mountain Resort received 63 inches of snow at our Summit Snow stake, which doubles the 30 inches we averaged the last five years, and is well above our 36 year November average of 47 inches.  The November snowfall hasn’t been our typical light, fluffy Utah powder, but has been a heavier snow with greater water density, which is perfect for building a great base to create amazing conditions all season long.

Additional Terrain Openings Include:

Thursday, December 2

Jupiter Lift

Saturday, December 4

Crescent Lift

Motherlode Lift

Town Lift (uploading and downloading only)

Gorgoza Park

Last weekend we opened the McConkey’s area and the Pinion Ridge side of Jupiter Peak, which is one the earliest openings in recent memory.   The Three Kings Terrain Park has 15 jib features and a recently opened jump line with 30’ and 45’ jumps.

Early season conditions do exist.  Additional terrain will open as conditions warrant.
