Park City, Utah (November 7, 2011) – Registration is now open for Park City Mountain Resort’s StartNOW program. Launched in the 2009-20120 season, StartNOW is a unique program aimed at teaching Utah residents (ages 6 and up) how to ski or snowboard.

StartNOW provides five sessions of instruction for first-time ski and snowboard students and includes lift access, equipment rentals and lessons for just $199 – or less than $40 per session.

“We created StartNOW to offer an affordable and accessible way to introduce Utah residents to skiing and snowboarding,” said Tom Pettigrew, director of skier services at Park City Mountain Resort.  “In the course of the first two seasons of StartNOW we’ve seen amazing success in introducing people to the sport. We are very excited to see a whole new group of First Time Skiers and Snowboarders get hooked during the 2011-2012 StartNOW season.”

StartNOW reservations are available through the Park City Mountain Resort call center at (800) 545-8112 seven days a week from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. until November 18, and 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. through the remainder of the season.
