Adventures for the youngest skiers on the mountain.
Junior Saturday Adventure
The Junior Saturday Adventure program welcomes skiers ages 3½ and 4 (as of January 1, 2013). The minimum skill level for this program is skiers who are beginning to make wedgeturns in both directions and can stop at will without aids. Participants also need to be fully toilette trained.
This program runs for six Saturdays in January and February from 9:30am to 12:00pm. Participants will be placed in groups of three based upon ability levels, where they will be able to ride the chairlift with their instructor. The emphasis of the Junior Saturday program is safety, fun and learning and is a great way for children to develop sound fundamentals and a love of skiing.

All summer I’ve been talking about exploring what happens after Shadow Lake, with fall in full swing, I decided it was now or never. After mapping together a group of trails that would give us several downhill thrills and only a few climbs, we drove to the top of Guardsman for a nine mile downhill, cross country ride.
