I have been taking a secret survey of late and asking a lot of my local friends what their favourite outdoor summer dining spots are. Without a doubt the great outdoor dining venues that not only offer delicious food are also where you can really soak up the essence of what Park City in the summer has to offer.
Silver Star Cafe
With plenty of space for the kids to run around or ride their bikes, this is the perfect place to chill out after a day of activity. Great food, sun, mountain views, live music and an unbeatable atmosphere.
Located in the Kimball Junction part of Park City, adjacent to the Swaner EcoCenter, Maxwells offers authentic Italian food and the best pizzas in town. This place is popular with locals and the wait time for a table can be long, however in the summer you can eat picnic-style on the grassy area outside. With a bike trail from Park City to Kimball junction, combine an afternoon family bike ride with dinner on the grass. A lovely way to spend a warm summer evening!
Being the heart and soul of Park City, Main Street comes alive with many restaurants offering outdoor dining during the warm summer months.
501 on Main, Bandits, Bangkok Thai, Bistro 412, Ciseros, Eating Establishment, Flannagans, Main Street Pizza and Noodle and Shabu all open their sidewalk patios for those who enjoy al fresco dining.
