We love Park City Mountain Resort in the summer. Our family loves to hike the mountain and play on the activities at the base of the resort. During this time of year, the Alpine Coaster is surrounded by lush trees and gorgeous wildflowers. But I must admit, it’s been sort of the “same” for a while. NOT ANYMORE!!
The addition of the “Adventure Zone” is so exciting. I took my kids over the other morning to really check it out. The activities are restricted to people 54 inches and shorter, so my 10 year old and 6 year old were in heaven. First stop was the Climbing Wall. With harnesses on, both boys attempted to climb this large “rock” wall. It is challenging. There are numerous routes to take to get to the top and getting there takes strength and courage.
The “Climbing Web” is another structure that allows the kids to test their strength and balance. Much like a jungle gym, this web of cables can be climbed on from one tower to the other.
Finally, the favorite activity according to my boys is the “Spider Slide.” This is a huge blow up slide that can only be reached by climbing up a woven tower. It takes time and strength to work your way through the web. Once you reach the top, you are rewarded with a fun trip down the blow up slide.
The other activities are still a hit. There’s no doubt about it. But the Adventure Zone adds another level. This is an area where physical activity is the name of the game. It’s a great place to wear those kiddos out.
After a full day of soaking up the sun, climbing on rocks and cable “webs” and racing down the mountain on the Alpine Slide, we finished up with a delicious burger from Crescent Burger. I love my Park City Mountain Resort!
