That’s what happened to me in New York City’s Soho when I discovered UNIQLO. Who would have thought I was going to find my new favorite brand both for layering and for Après-ski a in the middle of Manhattan?

UNIQLO is a Japanese brand and the Manhattan store is the only one in the United States at the moment but you can order online via email. If you are going to be in New York, stop and check out UNIQLO.

The prices are great--cashmere sweaters for under $100 and cute wool ones for less than $30!

The Heattech long underwear makes the best mid layer than you can find for under $20.  It’s light weight, breathable, quick drying  and keeps you warm. Did I mention it is super soft?  The bottoms look so good that they work perfectly as leggings, making it super easy to pack for ski trips. You wear them as leggings with a longer sweater on your flight in - and for the slopes under ski pants the next day.
