El Chubasco: Good & Cheap Eats in Park City

After a long day on the mountain, there is only one thing on my mind- FOOD!

I don’t know about you, but hitting the slopes always works up quite the appetite. Luckily, one my all-time-favorite Park City eateries is just down the road from the Park City Mountain Resort… El Chubasco. This hole-in-the-wall-Mexican-food-restaurant has an amazing salsa bar (pico de gallo, chipolte slasa, mango salsa & more), and lots of great  Mexican fare (including nachos, quesadillas, tostadas, burritos, enchiladas, tacos).

But the best thing about El Chubasco (other than the fact that they sell Jarritos and serve freshly-made, warm flour tortilla chips) is that it is so cheap.

Yes,  El Chubasco is probably the best dining deal in all of Park City with everything  on the menu under $8 and many choices even cheaper. You can get two tacos  for just $4.45! It’s completely family friendly and perfect for a quick and easy meal.

The restaurant is just five minutes from Park City Mountain Resort. Here’s how to get there:
1. Head southeast on Lowell Ave. toward Maor Way
2. Take the 1st left on to Manor Way
3. Turn left at Empire Ave
4. Turn left at Park Ave.
5. Take the 1st right onto Iron Horse Dr.
6. Turn Left at Bonanza Dr.
7. Arrive at El Chubasco: 1890, Bonanza Drive
