Snowmamas and EVO Winter Vacation Giveaway

WE NEED THIS...Me, my husband and kids are born and raised Floridians. My kids have never seen the mountains or snow. When I was younger our family vacations were always to Colorado mountains and it was an experience like non other that you can find! Its an experience that I want to be able to share with my family. My husband is a police officer and loves his job, but unfortunitly our budget doesnt allow for a vacation such as tgis one. PLEASE pick us for this wonderful vacation opportunity! I have two boys who are crazy about mountatins, they have never seen snow coz we used to live in Egypt and now in California. They two boys are very athletic one of them is California State champion and Mr Handstand oF California, They justlove anything related to sports and tumbling. I know how happy we are going to be if we went over there.....please pick us:))

Why our family should win a trip to Park City Mountain Resort
We are a family who skis in theory. Both kids were put on skis by the age of 3 by their father, who learned to ski as an adult on Killington. My husband, Philly city boy, joined a Ski Haus in his mid- 20s and learned to ski from guys who skied for PE class. I am an LA girl who learned to ski by joining ski club in middle school.

Back to the kids. They learned to make the wedge and slip and slide down the sides of mountains by age 5. Every year, we tried to take them skiing at least 3 days by studying the weather and snow conditions to get the best fresh snow at the best price. Our goal was to have them love skiing to make that our family sport and winter vacation. We planned our Presidents' Weekend around skiing the best snow we could find on the East Coast. Often, we were skiing on icy gravel at temperatures in the teens. We were forever chasing the mythical "perfect" conditions or soft snow and temperatures above 25 degrees. There were days we got in only 5 short runs at Blue Mountain because of the crowds and poor conditions.

My daughter was the first to admit that she did not like skiing. Then, last year, my son said that it wasn't worth it.

If our kids, ages 13 and 15, could ski the large open runs of "real" snow in Utah, I believe they will love skiing as god intended. We've talked about the possibility of traveling to Utah to ski the mythical snow but haven't had the funds to do it.

All of these people in the comments section seem to really deserve a trip to Utah. I merely want a trip to Utah. So I can spend hoards of American dollars in all of the local shops and restaurants. It will be truly obscene. I will make it rain on the wait-staff of all of the bars. My $20 tips will come wrapped in $100 dollar bills. I will probably buy two or three condos while I'm there so I can sleep in a different bed every night. It will be like an avalanche of opulence down Main St Park City!*

I'm so tired of being a "sand-mama" or "sunshine mama". I KNOOOW I shouldn't complain... we have such beautiful warm, sunny, hot, hot, beautiful weather here in south Florida. I'd love to share another part of this world with my kids. One that's cooler, whiter, brisk, bright, wet, zippy. You know...winter wonderland. There is more to this life than just the beach. Love your site. Plan to explore it more!! Here's to non-tropical dreams... fireplace, snow, cold weather, seeing your breath, sweaters, mountains....:)
