Spring Fever
Spring has arrived, or maybe NOT?
Who has cabin fever, and what actually is cabin fever? I have heard several folks commenting on this topic over the past week at Park City Mountain Resort's Kids Ski & Snowboard School. Is it just a desire to see the sunshine, soak up some Vitamin D, get out and do spring activities? Maybe start a bit of yard work, wash and clean out the car from winter grime, or maybe just see the grass, and put the snow shovel away?
A mother running late for her daughters Signature 5 ski lesson earlier this week said “Oh my, we are from Florida, and my daughter is used to flip flops and tank tops. She was having a fit with 3 layers on, and I just couldn’t get her to move any faster”.
I listened to and watched the forecast for the next week, thank you Brian McInerney. Brian confirmed my thoughts, we need to forget about spring for a few more weeks, so don’t pack away the turtlenecks just yet. Just because many of our guests are here on their Spring Break does not mean we should put away our winter coats as of yet, ours has not yet arrived.
The skiing and riding at Park City Mountain Resort is great! Bundle up, we have fresh snow in the Wasatch, so get after it, like the bumper sticker says “Shreddin the Nar like the cowboys we are."
See you out there.
**Park City Mountain Resort is extending the 2010/2011 Winter Season to April 17th, 2011 and he long-range weather forecast is calling for snow through the NEW scheduled closing day. **
