Ski School:

Ski school can be a scary experience for any young child, even more so for a four-year-old from Florida seeing snow for the first time. (Ski school can even be scary for us adults but that's another story.)

It is Spring and here at Park City Mountain Resort I'm beginning to see preparation for our Summer Operations. Yet, it still feels like winter today, snowing and blowing in the mountains, so I am reflecting.

Sue McJames works in Park City Mountain Resort's Human Resource department and is the mom of Megan McJames, a homegrown Park City athlete who will make her Olympic debut when she competes in the Women's Alpine GS and Slalom competitions at the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.

When families told Park City Mountain Resort they didn’t like such big ski school classes for their kids, the resort did something about it—besides suggesting parents pay mega bucks for private lessons.
