Intro

Welcome to your Personal Mountain Tour. Follow the steps on the map by clicking through the tour and enjoy exploring our mountain!

Step 1

Board Eagle lift.

Step 2

Exit Eagle lift. Cross Temptation run, head slightly uphill and board Eaglet lift.

Step 3

Exit right off of Eaglet lift. Take The Ridge terrain park to Temptation run. Board King Con lift.

Step 4

Exit straight off of King Con lift. Take Erika's Gold run, Willy's Run run or Silver King run. Board PayDay lift.

Step 5

Exit right off of PayDay lift. Take Bonanza Access run. Board Bonanza lift.

Step 6

Exit right off of Bonanza lift. Take Parley's Park run to Prospector run or Dynamite run. Board Silverlode lift.

Step 7

Exit right off of Silverlode lift. Take Parley's Park run to Fools Gold run or Glory Hole run and explore the trees in between these runs. Board Motherlode lift.

Step 8

Exit right or left off of Motherlode lift. Take Double Jack run, Mikey's run or Glory Hole run. Board Motherlode lift.

Step 9

Exit straight off of Motherlode lift. Look near the top of Bonanza to see if the gate just below the top terminal is open; if it is take Observation Deck, otherwise take Jonesy's run to Mid-Mountain run. Stop by Mid-Mountain runrestaurant for lunch or continue on and board McConkey's lift.

Step 10

Exit left off of McConkey's lift. Take McConkey's, stay skier’s right for the steepest line to Woodside run. Board Pioneer lift.

Step 11

Exit left off of Pioneer lift. Take 10th Mountain run and enjoy a classic aspen tree glade. Board Pioneer lift.

Step 12

Exit right off of Pioneer lift. Take Jupiter Access run. Board Jupiter lift.

Step 13

Exit right off of Jupiter lift. Make turns down Main directly beneath the lift; towards the bottom be sure to stay to the left or right to avoid Shadow Lake, the wide flat expanse that will take several minutes to walk across. Board Jupiter lift.

Step 14

Exit right off of Jupiter lift. Take Rhino run. Board Jupiter lift.

Step 15

Exit left off of Jupiter lift. Take the short hike to High West and traverse out towards the end of the road, drop in here, keep on going over the other side of Jupiter Access into Jupiter Access Trees to Lower Jupiter Access. Board Thaynes lift.

Step 16

Exit left off of Thaynes lift. Take Homerun run, head towards Silver Skis, keep traversing into the trees past the Shaft. When they get tight, bear right and drop into the glade between The Shaft run and Silver Skis run. Board 3 Kings lift.

Step 17

Exit right off of 3 Kings lift. Take one of three options in the 3 Kings terrain park. Board 3 Kings lift.

Step 18

Exit straight off of 3 Kings lift. Take Silver Hollow run.

Step 19

End your day at Legends restaurant in the Legacy Lodge.

Tour Summary

This tour will keep you guessing as to what comes next as you ski or ride on groomers to trees to steeps to wide-open powder bowls. As you discover the varied terrain at Park City Mountain Resort, you'll also find scenic vistas, including the spectacular views from the top of Portuguese Gap and Pinyon Ridge. You'll sample several of our Signature Runs (groomed runs that aren't typically groomed due to their advanced nature) and a few of our bowls and glades where you can experience our famous Utah powder. In the end this tour will challenge you in our top-ranked terrain parks with the jibs and jumps of the Three Kings and The Ridge Terrain Parks.

Tour Tips

Due to varying conditions, we recommend you use the Daily Groomed Runs Map as well as our official Mountain Guide in conjunction with this Planner.

Grooming  

Park City Mountain Resort grooms up to 50 runs every night. Pick up a copy of our Daily Groomed Runs Map from the Information Desk in the Legacy Lodge or from any Mountain Host to see what we’ve groomed in the past 24 hours.

Signature Runs  

Conquer more of the mountain with our Signature Runs. These are runs not typically groomed because of their advanced nature. Look for them on your trail map and on-mountain signage.

Look for the following scenic photo opportunities on this tour:  

• The top of the King Con Lift looking over Crescent Ridge towards the town of Park City.
• The top of McConkey’s Lift looking back into Guardsman Pass Area.

Dining  

We offer five different on-mountain dining options to keep you charged during your day on the mountain. The options range from burgers on the Summit House patio to the fresh pasta at the Legacy Lodge. For this tour we recommend stopping at the Snow Hut and enjoying a burger or brat on the deck.

Did you know?  

A Single Jack was a 2 pound hammer used by one miner to drive a hole into rock for placing dynamite. The Double Jack was a 5 pound hammer. One miner wielded the double jack with two hands, while a second miner held and turned the bit to produce the dynamite hole.

If you are feeling more confident try the following more difficult runs: Seldom Seen run, Creole run, Muckers run, Chance run and Heckler run.
