Exit straight off of First Time lift. Turn left and find the Marker First Time Three Kings Historical marker. A short distance down First Time Run you may see the large wooden counterweight of the Silver King Consolidated Mine Aerial Tram. This device, loaded with heavy rocks, served to keep the cable of the tramway on the pulleys in storms and high winds. The tramway connected to a mill, located about 2/3 of a mile away - the tram ceased operations in 1924. Take turtletrail down to Homerun run. Board PayDay lift.
Exit Right off PayDay lift. Take Bonanza Access run to the Silver King Mine Shaft House, located next to the base of the Bonanza lift, see plaque for details. Board Bonanza lift. Look for the original location of the newly remodeled Mid-Mountain Lodge (Silver King Boarding House) its only remaining trace is a green safe, located up and to the right, shortly after you get on the chair.
Exit right off Bonanza lift. Take Homerun run to Claimjumper run. Halfway down Claimjumper run look for an Marker Claimjumper ore bin on skier's left and see plaque for details. Continue down Claimjumper run and board Silverlode lift.
Exit right off Silverlode lift. Look for a historical marker in the trees before the Summit Demo Center. Take Homerun run to Jonesy's run to Mid-Mountain run. As you pass the Mid Mountain Restaurant restaurant, remember the original location near the base of Bonanza Lift, it was quite an impressive move that took seven bulldozers to complete. Continue down Mid-Mountain run to read the Marker Pioneer at the base of the Pioneer lift. Board Pioneer lift.
Exit right off Pioneer lift. Take Jupiter Access run. Near the Jupiter Lift look for the large flat, snow-covered area that is Shadow Lake, which is one of just two lakes in the Park City mining district. This water went to the Silver King Mine. Continue down Thaynes Canyon to just beyond the intersection with Keystone Run. On the left are the remnants of the California Comstock Mill, see plaque for more information. Continue down Thaynes Canyon run and on the right you will pass where the “Skier Subway” that operated in the 1960s let off its passengers. At the base of the Thaynes lift see the Marker Thaynes Canyon about the Crescent Mine. Board Thaynes lift.
Exit left off Thaynes lift. Head down Homerun run to Summit House restaurant and take lunch on the scenic heated patio. Continue on Homerun run, past Viking Yurt restaurant to Silver Queen run. At the top right of Silver Queen Run look for the two Water Tanks and read the plaque. Continue down Silver Queen run to Drift run across PayDay Run. Take Creole run and look for the Silver King Aerial Tramway towers.Towards the bottom of Creole run on the left is a Marker Creole about the Creole Mine site. Board Town lift.
Exit right off Town lift. The original Gondola Angle station building is where the original Gondola (which operated from 1963-1997) changed from one haul rope to another. Take Treasure Hollow run to Homerun run to the Main Base Area.
