National Ability Center

The National Ability Center empowers individuals of all abilities by building self-esteem, confidence and lifetime skills through sport, recreation and educational programs.

Located at the Park City Base Area is adaptive recreation partner, The National Ability Center. The National Ability Center offers a wide variety of programs year-round. Activities include alpine and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing, as well as a variety of winter and summer activities. Their programs are open to anyone with a barrier to recreation, from the child with autism, to a grandmother who wants to get back outside with family, to individuals with amputations, spinal cord injuries, visual impairments and more. The National Ability Center has been providing adaptive ski lessons at Park City for over 30 years, and continues to provide an option for individuals of all abilities.
