Bert has been with the Park City Mountain Resort Mountain Patrol since 1991.  He has worked his way up the ranks to become one of the Patrol Supervisors.  Stella was rescued from a local animal shelter in the summer of 2008.  She began her mountain orientation and basic training the winter of 2008 - 2009.  Stella became a Level A certified avalanche dog with Wasatch Backcountry Rescue (WBR) during the 2010-2011 season.
