| CHILL Shredathon |
Want to be a part of the 2010 Chill Shred-A-Thon?
You’ve heard of a walkathon? Well this is the same thing, just add snow, and a mountain, and a board, and cold weather and some crazy riders, and…OK so you know what? This is nothing like a walkathon; just the way things are set up is the same.
If you are interested in participating, let us know…

THINGS TO NOTE
• The event will take place at Park City Mountain Resort, Saturday March 13, 2010 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Lift tickets will be covered by Chill for participants who reach a minimum $50 fundraising goal! (Lift ticket rate of $35 if participating but unable to meet this goal)
• You can come, ride and be a part of the fun for as long as you want…3 hours, 5 hours or all day
• We need to have all contact info for each sponsor so we can follow up with them at the end of the fundraiser.
• Chill will have a tent set up throughout the day with info on the program, snacks, a place to hang, etc.
• On average a person who goes all out will ride about 22,000 vertical feet in a day while someone who takes it a little easy will ride 15,000 or so. Keep this in mind in case people ask while you’re collecting pledges.
• Everyone will get a little something for riding for the cause.
• All the money raised by you and other shredders will go straight back to the SLC-Chill program and thus support over 120 inner-city youth from the SLC.

| 2nd Annual Wasatch Backside Lifty Invitational (WBLI) |
The WBLI is a collaboration between Canyons, Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort. We want to put the spotlight on some of the unsung heroes out on the mountain and give an opportunity for the lift operators to have a fun and exciting way to boost moral and pride for each resort. It won't just be fun for those participating, but fun for those who come to cheer on their favorite resort. The schedule is as follows:
1. Scoop Relays - Team Event, 4 team members/resort – obstacle course, one team member pushes another in the scoop through the maze tags the next team and the next team does the same in the opposite direction, first, second, third rankings.
2. Return Gear Relay - Team Event, 5 team members/resort – Team member in chair, chair is parked at 6-8 feet ; Each team member returns an item to the team member in the chair (ski pole, glove, goggles, ski). It is a relay, the team members must tag out and if the team member in the chair drops any item, it must be re-run. This will be a timed event and will be placed accordingly
3. Ski Pole Spin Relay - Team Event, 4 team members/resort – Team member spins around ski pole 10 times, then runs 20 yards, tags out next team member who repeats the spin, first team to finish wins, first, second, third rankings.
4. 40 Yard Ski Boot Relay - Team Event, 4 team members/resort – One pair size 14 ski boot per team, first team member runs with boots, tags next team member, next team member puts on the ski boots and so on until all four have completed. First, second, third rankings.
The Wasatch Backside Lifty Invitational will be held at Deer Valley Resort on March 29 and the Canyons Resort on March 31, 2010. |
