Park City Mountain Resort offers unique backdrops for your big event, providing you and your guests with an unforgettable mountain experience. Our PayDay Meadow ceremony site is located on the spectacular mountainside of the resort. With unparalleled views of downtown Park City and the mountaintops, the site is the perfect location for an outdoor wedding ceremony.
You and your guests will have the authentic Park City Mountain Resort experience when they board the chairlift and enjoy the 15 minute ride to the top, before they walk through the grove of trees to your ceremony. After your ceremony, let the party begin when your guests take the alpine slide down to the base of the mountain. We promise this will be an unforgettable experience for everyone involved!
Payday Meadow Wedding Ceremony Site
Rental fee for the Meadow is $2000.This includes grooming of the meadow, set up of up to 200 chairs and 2 speakers with 1 wireless microphone.
There will be an additional charge of $6.00 per person for the chairlift/slide ticket.
The bride & groom and the photographer may ride the chairlift down. All other guests will ride the alpine slide down. If you have guests unable to take the slide down, special arrangements can be made.
Uploading your guests:
The chair lift moves at less than half speed for a relaxing and scenic ride to the meadow. The lift will take approximately 15 minutes to reach the top; therefore you should plan on a 1hour travel time for all of your guests to reach the meadow based on the number of invitees. For safety reasons no children under the age of 2 are permitted to ride the chair lift.
Weather backup options will be provided. The Plaza Room in Legacy Lodge will be our first choice to relocate your ceremony based on availability (no discounts will be available due to a change in weather).
Legacy Lodge
Located at the base of Park City Mountain Resort, Legacy Lodge is the perfect choice for ceremonies and receptions. This beautiful building has architecture reminiscent of the mining history of Park City complete with scenic mountain views and access to outdoor patios. Choose from a full menu with a variety of food and beverage choices.
Summer Rates (May 23, 2008 through November 7, 2008)
In the summer you have the option of renting the entire Legacy Lodge or there are several rooms that can be utilized for your ceremony or reception. Individual rooms can accommodate parties of up to 250 and the entire lodge can accommodate 600 seated guests.
- Entire Lodge- $1,500 for five hours
- Per Room- $500 for five hours
- PayDay Patio - $300 for five hours
Winter Rates (November 9, 2008 thru April 12, 2009)
The Legacy Lodge has several rooms that can be utilized for your ceremony or reception site.
- Plaza Room - $1000 available at 6:00pm
- The PayDay Room - $1000 available at 6:00pm
- The Loft - $1500 Friday-Sunday available at 4:00pm or $1000 Monday-Thursday available at 4:00pm
The Payday Loft , on the third floor of the Legacy Lodge, is also available after 5:00pm.
Additional Wedding Services.
We can offer a variety of menu options for your reception including hors d’ oeuvres, buffets and action stations. We can also customize any menu to fit your needs and make sure your wedding has your signature touch. Click to browse our catering menu. We are happy to recommend preferred vendors for all aspects of your wedding including florist, photographers, entertainment and bakeries.

A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and hold specific dates and function space. All food and beverage items are subject to a 19% service charge and applicable sales tax of 8.35%.
