Kids and safety on the mountain
Child age limit Children who are riding the chairlifts at Park City Mountain Resort must be at least 2 years of age and be able to load, ride and unload without being carried. They must also be wearing skis or other alpine sliding devices. Guests will not be allowed to access the chairlifts with a child in a carrier such as a backpack or chest pack. The purpose of this policy is for the safety of the child in the unlikely event of a lift evacuation or injury to the adult. Tips:
Read a safety story "Sheena Catski and Grommet the Snowdog" is a fun and informative story about mountain safety that kids young and old will enjoy. It was written by one of Park City Mountain Resort's Mountain Hosts, Anna Cordes. Safety Posters The following fun and informative safety posters were drawn by Park City area elementary school children. Click on any image for a larger version.
