Ski Magazine Names Park City Mountain Resort 2012 #1 Family Vacation

Park City Mountain Resort has been named the “#1 Family Vacation” from the editors of SKI Magazine. The award is part of SKI Magazine’s “Lifestyle” winners that it added last year as part of its “Top 60 Resort Awards”.  The Resort was also named the #6 Resort in North America by readers of SKI Magazine.

Park City Mountain Resort has spent several years developing some of the ski industry’s premier family programs. In 2008, Park City Mountain Resort launched www.snowmamas.com, an online resource for families planning winter vacations. This site provides tips and advice from real Snowmamas and Snowpapas. Plus, the Resort was the first in North America to guarantee a maximum class size of five children or less in its Kids Signature 5 Program, for skiers and snowboarders ages six to 14, every day of the season. And, students can choose lunch of their choice in one of our on-mountain restaurants. In addition, the Resort has introduced dynamic on-mountain family winter adventures with its Adventure Alleys, Alpine Coaster and new Flying Eagle Zip Line.

In addition to being named the Best Family Vacation by the editors of SKI Magazine, Park City Mountain Resort was ranked #3 in Family Programs.

Park City Mountain Resort Named 2010 Most Family-Friendly Resort in North America

Park City Mountain Resort has received several awards in the last ten years but we've never been more excited about an award as we are about this one! Recently we were voted "North America's Most Family-Friendly Resort" by the visitors of OnTheSnow, which is the most visited snowsports site on the web.

The cool thing about this is that we do not have a $15 million Children's Center. Nor do we have an abundance of new lodging at the base of the Resort. What we do have is an incredibly friendly team that makes everyone feel welcome. We have an extraordinary Kids Signature Program that guarantees small class sizes. And the list goes on and on!
