Traditional Native American Blessing Ceremony for Snow

Park City Mountain Resort will host a traditional Native American blessing ceremony to encourage snowfall and moisture for Mother Earth. The ceremony will begin at high noon on Saturday, January 14, 2012 in the Resort Plaza and will be performed by members of the Northern Ute Tribe.

The Snow Blessing ceremony will include a prayer led by Frank Arrowchis in English, followed by a prayer led by Spiritual Leader, Albert Lance Manning, in Ute and will conclude with a traditional Native American song and dance performance.
