Personal attention makes all the difference when you’re learning to ski or snowboard. This is why Park City Mountain Resort’s Kids Signature 5 Program was the first in North America to guarantee no more than five kids per class every day of the season.
Now kids ages six to 14 can get the individual attention they deserve in an atmosphere that’s more like a private lesson. This smaller, more intimate group allows for more one-on-one instruction, a safer environment and more exploration of the mountain. As a result, kids improve faster and build lasting friendships with their instructor and fellow classmates. Plus, your child will be able to enjoy a tasty lunch of their choice in one of our four on-mountain restaurants.
For our smaller skiers and riders ages three-and-a-half to five, our Kids Signature 3 Program blends two 75-minute, on-snow sessions with a child-specialist ski instructor and educational activities in the Children’s Learning Center. This program strikes the perfect balance of fun and learning while introducing little ones to this new, exciting activity.

Our Signature 5 Program offers a unique small group experience for your child. Each class is limited to a maximum of 5 students per instructor giving each child focused personal attention. Our Signature 5 Program is specifically designed for children ages 6-14. Classes range from first time to expert in levels and are offered for both skiers and snowboarders. Our children instructors specialize in creating an ideal environment where safety, fun and learning are the top priorities. All groups spend the day learning new techniques and refining existing skills while exploring the mountain. In the process building lifelong friendships with their small group. Plus – your child will eat a lunch of his/her choice at one of our on-mountain restaurants. Reservations are required to ensure lesson availability. Any changes or cancellations made within 24 hours are subject to a $50 fee.

Our Signature 3 Program was designed with young skiers in mind - combining the perfect amount of on-snow time in our special teaching area mixed with indoor child-oriented activities – to get them started down the right trail! Your child (ages 3.5-5) will enjoy two 75-minute sessions of ski instruction in our exclusive teaching area, complete with a magic carpet. With a maximum of three kids per instructor you can be comforted knowing that your child will be with an instructor on the lift at all times (when they graduate to our beginner lift). Our indoor activities were created by our child specialists and include an educational craft area, quiet reading room and a separate monstrous indoor jungle gym to entertain the liveliest ones.
