Fun on Park City's Main Street
The slopes aren’t the only place to have a blast at Park City Mountain Resort. For me, the shops surrounding historic Main Street are a full day’s adventure. There are lots of options in this adorable area lined with stores and restaurants. (An insider tip: For easy and free parking near Main Street, your best bet may be Suede Alley or China Bridge.)

Here are some don’t-miss spots along Main Street that the the members of our Snowmamas/Snowpapas Advisory Council recommend:
GALLERY STROLL on the last Friday of each month, Sheri Lukas suggests, “Start at the Kimball Arts Center where you pick up a gallery map and list then head out on a self-guided tour. Many of the galleries serve refreshments. Everyone LOVES the Coda Gallery. Such amazing Glass, Sculpture and quirky paintings.
RIDE THE TOWN LIFT from the Town Plaza to PCMR is a great way to get on the mountain both in Winter and in Summer. You can hitch your mountain bike to the chair...catch an AMAZING view of Park City, be dropped off near the Silver King Mine and ride back down the many paths. During the summer months, check out Park Silly Sunday Market. Farmers Market, music, local artisan’s booths, food vendors, beer garden, and street performers.
OLIVE AND TWEED According to Park City local Snowmama Jennifer Tyler, you can always find great stuff at Olive and Tweed. “It's an artist driven boutique and you cannot believe the amazing merchandise you will find there. It's eclectic, funky and extremely unique.”
QUIKSILVER for souvenirs. Follow Laura Mean’s advice: “My kids love the Quiksilver store. They sell shirts there that say Park City on them and they are ones the kids will actually wear!”
ATTICUS for when you are ready for a break. Heather Mckay Bowes think Atticus is a “fantastic tea/coffee shop and bookstore on lower Main.” Her daughter and friend can keep busy for up to an hour while Heather enjoys some wonderful goodies and talks with the personable owner.
DOLLY’S BOOK STORE is the spot if you are shopping for four legged friends, suggests Debra Magnuson. "Get some ice cream, chocolate covered milk bones for the dog and browse the bookstore in back.”
MARY JANE’S and WHIMSY (for yourself.) Kathryn Love recommends both Mary Jane and Whimsy as fun shopping destinations.
