Mondays with Mary: Why is teaching a snowsport better left to the pros rather than parents?
Why is teaching a snowsport better left to the pros rather than parents?
Parents have great intentions. However, they lack the training specific to snow sports instruction, and safety, as well as the experience and knowledge that an instructor has gained over time. In my personal experience-- as well as talking to many parents over the past 14 years- most children also listen and behave better in a class environment than they will with their own parents.
Mondays with Mary is a weekly column where our Kids Mountain School Manager answers your most common questions.
